Jim Berridge
LEAX TELECOM, Senior Vice President of Sales
Jim Berridge is the Senior Vice President of Sales at LEAX Telecom, where he spearheads the growth of the mobile broadband device segment. With over 25 years of experience in the wireless industry, Mr. Berridge is a seasoned executive renowned for his expertise in sales, marketing, and operations.
Throughout his career, Jim has demonstrated a strong aptitude for onboarding new OEMs in fixed wireless broadband, handsets, and wearables across the US and Canada. His leadership roles include serving as Chief Development Officer at Quality One Wireless and as Executive Vice President of North America at NetComm Wireless, where he made significant contributions to business expansion and market penetration.
Jim Berridge’s wireless journey began at Nokia, where he developed a solid foundation in the industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis and earned his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. His educational background, combined with his extensive professional experience, underscores his strategic acumen and ability to drive business growth.

Hugo A. Hernandez
LEAX TELECOM, Chief Product Officer
Hugo has been at the forefront contributing and leading in the fast-moving wireless business industry trends, and demands in the consumer electronics space. He’s spent over 20 years bringing product innovation and creating new product business segments and categories.
He has led numerous product projects through the entire product cycle from conception, to development, selection at the component level, the ID design, through bringing the product to market commercially, and the ramp down to the end of life of the device. Product solutions concepted and commercialized in the connected wireless space, smart IoT device solutions for various verticals including health, productivity, automotive, and most recently AI solutions.
He has worked with customers like Google, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft for various product concepts, and designs meeting their technical requirements on Software and Hardware cutting edge solutions.
He has launched numerous product solutions with Tier 1 carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, America Movil, Telefonica, Vodafone, Dutch Telecom, Telstra among others. He has also commercialized countless devices in North America, LatAM, Japan, Australia, and Europe.
He has placed companies like Nokia, Alcatel (TCL), Acer in the map of smart devices, and various consumer devices as leading market players, and developed comprehensive Go-To-Market plans to position their brands a new product categories.
Throughout his professional career, Hugo has generated net profitable business across various regions and channels. Has built large teams and led them tenaciously to win in the market with innovative products and solutions.
